Back Creek Nature Park

Back Creek Nature Park (BCNP) has been called the hidden jewel of Annapolis city parks. Created in 1990 under Program Open Space, it has quietly rested for nearly 20 years housing the former City of Annapolis Wastewater Treatment Plant and other wonderful treasures. Today, the park is a unique environmental educational resource. BCNP is an area where visitors of all ages can learn about watershed conservation and restoration. The park provide a national model for innovative urban living classroom eco-education and recreation at the local level.

Pickering Creek Audubon Center

Pickering Creek Audubon Center is a 400-acre sanctuary is located north of Easton, MD. Riparian buffer plantings, warm season grass meadows, succession fields, brackish tidal wetlands, 75-acre nontidal wetland and mature forest allow visitors to experience representative habitats of the Chesapeake Bay while enjoying 3 miles of walking trails. St. John's College
